We have 7 rooms and one nice little hut or a cottage. Every room has a TV and an internet access. The house is newly renovated and there is a nice room for breakfast. A cozy lounge is also on site.
Breakfast is served from 8-9:30 every morning from June 1st to September 15th (Breakfast is not included in the price and these dates are subject to change at short notice). The breakfast includes a waffle iron and guests are free to make themselves fresh waffles.

Lindartún is located close to the town Hvolsvöllur on the main ring road. It takes only one and a 1.5 hour or a little more than two hours from the Keflavik airport.

Explore Iceland
Lindartún is an excellent location from which to base for exploration of South Iceland. Its central location makers it ideal for day trips in the region and then back for a good night’s sleep at the guesthouse.
Seljalandsfoss
Popular places near by are the great waterfalls Seljalandsfoss, 15 min. drive and Skógarfoss 25 min. drive. The new Lava Centre which gives an overall idea of the volcaic activity of Iceland is very close. The Centre is an interactive museum that reveals the forces of nature that shaped our planet and created Iceland. Outside you will see all the great mountains of Hekla, Katla Tindfjöll and Eyjafjallajökull.
Golden Circle
Staying at Lindartún it is also a must to visit the famous ‘Golden Circle’ sights, Þingvellir National Park, Geysir hot spring area and Gullfoss Waterfall. You could also head for the village of Vík, about an hour drive or enjoy walking on Reynisfjörur beach and admire the majestic bird cliff Dyrhólaey (45 minute drive). We also recommend visiting the glacier Sólheimajökull, a popular destination due to easy access and the old Seljavallalaug, a protected 25-metre outdoor pool built in 1923.

Lindartún Guesthouse is a fantastic stop when travelling along the famous South Coast of Iceland. It is off the beaten path and yet so close to all the main attractions. It is a great place to see the northern lights in the winter time and to enjoy endless daylight in May, June and early July.
